The UIAA Mountain Symposium included a series of theoretical presentations and practical workshops on mountain themes, addressing important topics such as:

- Techniques for assisting the second on multi-pitch routes
- First aid for hypothermia and frostbite

In addition to the educational and practical components, this event was a wonderful opportunity that brought together mountain lovers from around the world and allowed for an exchange of ideas between professionals from different countries. It reminded us, once again, that mountaineering is a global activity in which the UIMLA family participates at the highest level. Thus, through delegates Andreea Maria Nuță and Dănuț Nicolae, SGLM had the opportunity to actively participate in discussions regarding mountain safety, mountain education, and the professional development of guides.
We thank our hosts, the UIAA and the Kosovo Mountaineering and Alpinism Federation, for the invitation and their hospitality in organizing this mountain symposium.
